In addition to the 3,373 flats on offer following the latest September 2019 BTO launch, homeowners will have even more flats to pick and choose from the 716 flats made available through the ROF exercise. Consisting of a wide range of flat types – from 2-room Flexi to Executive – and across both mature and non-mature towns, the ROF selection is made up flats from last November’s Sale of Balance Flats Exercise.

A defining characteristic of ROF is that flats don’t typically come with a long waiting period, unlike BTOs. If you have a tight timeline when it comes to securing a new flat, it’s time to check out the flats for open booking on HDB InfoWEB

.

A brief recap on the new ROF Exercise

As part of HDB’s ongoing efforts to make flats more accessible to potential homeowners, the enhanced scheme will allow home buyers to secure an HDB flat as soon as the next day after they apply for one, thus the ability to move in earlier. It is available for booking at any time of the year.
