Who is Rhonda Wong?
Born in Malaysia and raised in Singapore, Rhonda Wong serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-founder of Ohmyhome.
Rhonda graduated with distinction from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, with majors in Finance, Entrepreneurial, Accounting and a minor in Economics. While in University, she was also awarded the Carson Scholarship to study public policy in Washington D.C. Upon graduation, Rhonda joined Nico Trading Chicago and was the only female trader employed at that time.
Co-founding Ohmyhome
Rhonda’s wealth of experience in the business and the real-estate sector has helped her drive the company to become Singapore’s first one-stop property solution. Her mission is to simplify housing transactions and provide an enhanced home search experience that saves time and money.
Anthill Realtors, launched in 2014, was yet another business Rhonda ran while trading on the side. Together with Co-founder and currently, Ohmyhome CPO Race Wong, she managed investors’ portfolios. The business took off and was soon handling more than 100 investors’ portfolios in seven countries around the region.
But while Anthill was profitable, Rhonda and Race didn’t feel an emotional connection to what they were doing. So when Anthill had $200,000 to pump into innovation, Race suggested that they focus on HDB flats.
Ohmyhome launched in September 2016, it’s already had its fair share of headlines. Rhonda, given her love of all things numbers-related, can’t complain about the digits: more than 300,000 users, more than 4,500 homes transacted (with a combined value exceeding $1 billion), more than $20 million in commissions saved by customers, and most recently, raising a cool $4 million from venture capitalists.
It’s impressive stuff, but it’s not the reason why Rhonda shows up at work every morning. Ohmyhome, she believes, is fundamentally about family and helping those who cannot afford the time and money to wade through agents, hidden fees, and confusing information in the market.
Ohmyhome Launch in Malaysia
Ohmyhome launched in Malaysia in July 2019, as part of its expansion plans in Southeast Asia
Region. It is the first cross-border one-stop property solution with its tech-enabled offerings that have served thousands of customers in Singapore.
Awards and Achievements

2017, Rhonda was recognized as Women Icon at the Inaugural Women Icons Summit & Awards. She was named by LadyBoss Asia as one of the Top 8 LadyBosses who made waves in 2017.
Responsible for the overall management of Ohmyhome and driving its growth, Rhonda’s many accomplishments include leading the company to become one of the best start-ups of 2017 and Best e-Commerce Startup in Singapore Rice Bowl Awards in 2018.
Rhonda is the Founder of the Year at 2019 Singapore Rice Bowl Startup Awards.

Career and Interests
Avid in giving back to the community, she has volunteered across the world from Detroit, Chicago, the Dominican Republic to Singapore and Myanmar.
As a child, Rhonda Wong wanted to be a musician. In her teens, she wanted to be a doctor. Eventually, she wound up as the only woman derivatives trader (with a job scope of buying and selling stocks) in a company in Chicago.
Rhonda returned to Singapore in 2008 and continued trading while juggling several businesses on the side: handling the import and export of military equipment; being an education consultant for schools in China, and even starting her own plus-size lingerie store.
Rhonda is a founding member of the inaugural Singapore PropTech Association which aims to innovate the traditional real estate industry. Her astute business acumen and passion for property make Rhonda a sought-after mentor at entrepreneurial and proptech events, and she is often invited to speak at schools and business leadership seminars.
Before Ohmyhome, Rhonda started Anthill Realtors, a real estate agency, at the age of 29 in 2014. Headquartered in Singapore, Anthill Realtors’ forte is sourcing investment grade properties from within and abroad, with a one of a kind concierge service.
Rhonda started consulting for property developers in 2013 and before that, she was a real estate salesperson at Savills where she was promoted to sales director within a year and was recognized as the best newcomer. Her journey into Savills was encouraged by her personal real estate investments.
A serial entrepreneur at heart, Rhonda has gathered a vast amount of experience as she had worked on several businesses including retail in Singapore; import and export of equipment from the USA and acted as a consultant on other businesses such as children’s education in Suzhou, China.
