Jurong West is the largest town in the Western part of Singapore and is home to an estimated 260,600 HDB residents. The HDB manages 73,510 flats in the town (as of 31 March 2017).

With the recent launch of Genting Hotel Jurong and the Trade Association hub, we see a rising trend of commercial development in Jurong. Exciting new projects for Jurong West which are in the pipeline include the building of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR).
Jurong West residents can also look forward to a brand new hawker centre. Located at Jurong West Street 61, the new hawker centre with 34 cooked food stores will be the fourth hawker centre in Jurong West.
